Russia-China and the strategy of “divide and rule”

The follower of the series of leaks about the allegations of China’s knowledge of the Russian invasion before it occurred, and then its attempt to provide economic and technical military to support Russia, is fully aware that even if it is not documented and without evidence, it intersects with suspicions that range from doubt to certainty…

Despite the keenness of Russia and China to give a stereotyped image of a common destiny, we find that they have differences on many issues, for example, one of them supports India, while the other supports Pakistan, and the Russian-Chinese alliance was founded on one pact, to confront the United States.

But will this alliance withstand the bets of global commercial interests?

The two powers have economic interests, that Russia relies on to make China defend Russia’s strategic mistakes, no matter how many are and the latest is the invasion of Ukraine.
The economic relationship between China and Europe – the United States, which accounts for two-thirds of Chinese foreign trade, is therefore making China reluctant to take an explicit stance on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Chinese leadership is in an internal struggle between emotion and reason, emotion leads it to support Russia and even trying to cause a rift in the NATO camp by separating the European Union and the United States of America, to attract France and Germany and incite them to rebel against the US line, as confirmed by Chinese statements the last one was about the “fragility” of the European security system, as for reason guiding China to be careful thinking about its commercial interests with Europe and the United States of America, and determining the outcome of this internal conflict between emotion and reason will likely be favored by the pragmatism of interests…the Chinese interests…
